Quality of Posts

Hi Smortians,

I have submitted similar posts earlier but I need to create a new one about the quality of your blogs after receiving a large number of disputed posts and getting a lot of criticism about the quality of your posts from the advertisers.

Please write original ideas taking into account what the advertiser requested from you. Do not use copy content in your posts. We have a duplicate tool which will catch any copy content. It was created by our engineers, it flags a post with a percentage of duplicate info and then we manually check it. It's sometimes bits and pieces from two posts, it's not always exact sentences right down to the punctuation. And posting a copy content is a reason to ban your blog.

Also do not use auto text softwares..We have received many disputes lately complaining about auto text softwares used in submitted posts.

We try to be fair and do our best to stand up for your posts but in order for us to do this, they must be written in accordance with Smorty rules. Finally please do not ask to unban your blog. We cannot unban a banned blog unfortunately..

The G20 Summit

The event of the week is the G20 summit in London on April 2nd. 19 of the world's largest national economies, plus the European Union (EU) gathers to the summit to take any means necessary in order to revive the economy that is in Global Financial Crisis. The countries are divided on ways to lift their nations from economic misery. The US calls for more stimulus spending and the European countries especially Germany and France
mainly focus on creating new regulations for the Financial System disregarding stimulus packages. Despite these differences, many expect G-20 leaders to make cooperation.

Many people other than protesters.. Thousands have joined together in central London to protest against the G-20 summit. Banks in the Financial district were the main target. Protestors pushed against police barricades outside the Bank of England, shouting "Abolish Money!". At least 8 people were arrested. Some bank employees swapped their suits for jeans not to be noticed by protestors.

Post Exchange

Hi,

We have been receiving complaints from some of our bloggers saying that they cannot submit the posts they had written for the Post Exchange because of anchor text problems. The anchor texts created for Post Exchange function need to follow some rules and they are as follows:

1) Because it will help with rankings for your site with the word you choose for your keyword, be sure to select a keyword you want to be ranked well for.

2) Use an anchor text that can be incorporated into a sentence. Find a phrase or a word so that bloggers can write it as part of a logical sentence.

3) Please do not use special characters like "'!{&" when you create an anchor text since some of our bloggers cannot submit these to their blogs.

4) Do not enter more than one anchor text. For example an anchor text like: test prep, college counseling, SAT will be a problem. These need to be separated, otherwise all those will appear as a single link which won't make sense in a blog post.

Slumdog Millionaire

I finally found an oppurtunity to see Danny Boyle's last movie Slumdog Millionaire. Since there were many positive critics and Danny Boyle was one of my favorite directors with his hit movie Trainspotting, i had great expectations before watching the movie. I guess because of these facts i found it a little overrated. But nevertheless I recommend this movie to everyone.

This movie is already announced as the movie of the year by many movie critics with its screenplay, editing and most of all never slowing tempo. Slumdog Millionaire won 4 Golden Globes including Best Motion Picture and best director categories. It has another 26 wins from different festivals like British Independent Film Awards, Chicago Film Critics Association Awards, Los Angeles Film Critics Association Awards and National Board of Review.

Slumdog Millionaire tells the story of an orphan from the Mumbai slums who is one question away from winning the jackpot on "Who Wants to be a Millionaire" when he is arrested on suspicion of cheating. The screenplay is adapted from the novel of Vikas Swarup, which is considered as a good piece of literarture as well. I should mention that the original sound track of the movie composed by A.R. Rahman, has some cool tracks.

How To Build A Successful Blog

Today, I would like to give you some advice on building a successful blog.

1. The first important thing is to place an unforgettable image to the header of your blog. This will make a lasting impression on first time visitors.

2. Secondly and most importantly, write posts that are orginal. You need to have content that will take people's interest. You must remember not to copy content from other sites or sources while writing your posts related to the topic or category of your blog.

3. You need to have one topic or category selected for your blog. Please try your best to publish your posts related to this one topic/category. Write a lot of posts and explanations regarding this topic. Try to read and reply all comments written for your posts. You can also visit other blogs and write comments for the posts giving the URL of your blog just to bring more readers to your blog on related topics.

4. Adding an image or a visual element to your posts will help you to describe what you are saying in a better way and in a better theme, but don't add to many images since it may ruin your focus on content and load times.

Keeping your blog active is another thing you must keep in mind. Be sure to write few times a week, leaving your blog without making any updates will hurt your Search Engine Optimisation.

Rafa in 5

Hi there,

Last weekend there was an historic competition in Australia between Rafael Nadal and Roger Federer, Rafael Nadal became the first male Spaniard ever to win Australian Open in a final that lasted 4.23 hours. There was a huge lead up, by thousands of fans, to the final at Melbourne Park between Rafa and Roger Federer since these were two of the greatest tennis champions of all time. Rafa was looking for his 6th Grand Slam victory in 17 appearences and Roger was looking for his 14th title which is the record-equalling one with Pete "Pistol" Sampras. It was amazing to see these two champions giving their best to win the title in a game that lasted 5 sets.

Rafa won this exciting the game 7-5, 3-6, 7-6, 3-6, 6-2. Federer was unable to speak, he tried to force back the tears but couldn't manage. Rafa is winning majors at a faster rate than Federer at the same age, faster than anyone except Bjorn Borg. Rafa now has a chance to make a calender Grand Slam, which can be a historical achievement since there are only 2 players who have done this before. (Don Budge 1938 and Rod Laver 1962&1969). In this modern era there is only one player who completed a Career Grand Slam on four different surfaces: Andre Agassi.

This game will be one of the classics but will not beat the final they played at Wimbledon last year which is considered to be the greatest game in history.

Disputed Posts

Dear Smortians,

We have been receiving many emails from the advertisers using our service concerning the posts you submit for their campaigns. I need to inform you that most of these emails are complaining about the quality of the posts that are written. Some of the advertisers even try to cancel their campaigns considering the posts "pure spam", asking for refunds. We find it hard to stand up for some of the posts written since most of these advertisers have some right in their claims.

After receiving such emails, I have decided to write a post to remind you to be more careful about your posts. Try to write original things which will not disappoint any advertisers. To avoid any disputes please use correct English grammar and follow the instructions stated in your task.

Till next time,

Inauguration Concert

Hi,

Today, I would like to talk about an event which took place on 18/01/2009 Sunday. The stars were in Washington DC to celebrate Barack Obama's coming inauguration. The Boss, Bono, Garth Brooks, Shakira, Beyonce, Sheryl Crow, Josh Groban, James Taylor and U2 were on the stage to perform. George Lucas, Tiger Woods, Tom Hanks, Samuel L. Jackson and Forrest Whittaker were among half a million people who went to the concert at the Lincoln Memorial. The atmosphere was truely impressive.

The Boss's "The Rising", Sheryl Crow & Herbie Hancock's "One Love" and especially U2's "Pride (In the Name of Love) -the band's dedication to Martin Luther King, were extraordinary. Bono's "This is not just an American dream also an Irish Dream, a European Dream, an African Dream, an Israeli Dream...and also a Palestinian dream..." quote was one of the best parts of the concert. Actually this was the only remarkable political comment of the concert besides the presence of some iconic figures from the world of politics and entertainment
